The care you need.
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone.
Often, friends and family want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.

Hello, I’m Tammy Heintz and I am the Facilitator for St Marks Grief Support Ministry offering the Griefshare program. After the loss of my son in 2018. I was lost, confused and a total mess. I knew I needed help, but as I worked in the mental health field I felt I needed something other than clinical and textbook help. Other family members seemed to be handling this loss better than I was. I saw in the bulletin St Marks was offering Griefshare and thought maybe this is my answer. I can proudly say it was. The program was and is amazing. It educated me on grief, the grieving process, how grief is different for everyone, what is normal and when to seek professional help. It helped me so much that I wanted to help others on this journey of grief so that they too could be happy again and find their new normal so I became a Facilitator of the group. I’m happy to talk with you if you have any questions or if you or someone you know would benefit from our Grief Support Group.
